Sharing a number
A single number can be looked after by several people, so whoever is free can pick up the calls and texts. Everyone with access sees the same conversations in their own sidebar, which means nothing slips through the cracks while you are out on a job. Access is set per number, so you decide exactly who covers which line. See Shared inboxes.Leaving a private note
Sometimes you need to say something about a customer, not to them: a heads-up for a colleague, a question, or a quick “I’ve already quoted this one.” Team notes let you leave that message right on the customer’s conversation, and the customer never sees it. See Team notes.Chatting with your team
Team chat is a separate place to message the people you work with, with nothing to do with customers. Send a quick update, sort out who is covering which job, share a photo or a file, or jump on a quick audio huddle for a fast catch-up. See Team chat. Your colleagues are listed under Your Team in the sidebar. Click a name to start chatting.Keeping customers and colleagues apart
The golden rule is simple: your inboxes are for talking to customers, and team chat and notes are for talking to each other. They are kept completely separate, so there is no risk of a private message going out to a customer by mistake. Not on the team yet? The workspace owner or an admin can send an invite. See Inviting your team.
