Connecting HubSpot links Dialbird to your CRM, so the contacts you already keep in HubSpot are a click away in Dialbird. It’s a one-time setup, and you can bring a list across whenever you’re ready. The card itself sums up the aim: sync contacts and Dialbird activity with HubSpot.

Connecting HubSpot

  1. Go to Settings, then Integrations.
  2. On the HubSpot card, click Connect.
  3. You’ll be sent to HubSpot to allow the connection. Approve it, and you’ll come back to Dialbird.
When it’s connected, the card shows a green Connected badge, with the name of the HubSpot account it’s linked to underneath.

Importing a list of contacts

Once connected, click Import a list on the HubSpot card. A window opens where you can:
  1. Search your HubSpot lists and pick the one you want. Each list is tagged Static or Segment so you know what you’re pulling in.
  2. Give the list a name in Dialbird (it starts with the HubSpot name, and you can edit it).
  3. Click Import list.
The import runs in the background, so you can close the window and carry on. When it finishes, Dialbird tells you how many contacts it imported, how many were already in your contacts, and how many failed, and gives you a View contacts button to jump straight to them. If a list you expected isn’t showing, tap Refresh in the picker. That’s usually a HubSpot quirk rather than anything wrong on Dialbird’s side.

If something goes wrong

The card tells you if there’s a problem:
  • Reconnect needed: the link has dropped. Click Reconnect to sign in again.
  • Error: something’s wrong with the connection, and the card shows the reason.
To unlink HubSpot entirely, click Disconnect.
Needs checking: confirm exactly what syncs once connected: whether calls and texts are logged onto the HubSpot contact, whether an incoming call shows the HubSpot contact’s name, and whether recordings or transcripts are attached. The previous version of this page claimed all of these, but I could only verify Connect, Import a list, and Disconnect in the app.
