If you see “Enable call notifications”
This is the friendly first-time prompt, and it means you just haven’t said yes yet.- Click Enable on the banner.
- When your browser asks, choose Allow.
If you see “Notifications are blocked”
This means your browser has switched notifications off for Dialbird, and only you can switch them back on:Unblock in your browser’s site settings to receive incoming calls in the background.
- Click the padlock next to the web address at the top of your browser.
- Find Notifications and set it to Allow.
- Reload Dialbird.
Why it matters
Without notifications, Dialbird can only alert you while its tab is the one you’re looking at. Turn them on and it can reach you even when you’re working in another window, so a call coming in doesn’t slip past you. When you want to be reachable is also shaped by your work schedule in Settings, then Preferences. Outside the hours you set there, Dialbird holds back calls and notifications on purpose. See Preferences.
