Dialbird runs in your web browser and needs a steady internet connection to work. So if it won’t load, or it keeps dropping out, the first thing to check is your connection.
The basics
- Check you’re online by trying to load another website. If nothing loads, the problem is your internet rather than Dialbird.
- Reload Dialbird. A refresh clears most short-lived hiccups.
- Get onto a stronger connection, closer to the router or on a wired cable. A weak signal drops calls and connections alike.
Dialbird quietly reconnects itself when your connection comes back, so a brief drop usually sorts itself out without you doing anything.
If it’s still playing up
- Try another browser or an incognito window. That rules out a browser extension or a cached glitch.
- On a work or public network, a VPN or firewall can block the connection. See Using a VPN.
- Check your device isn’t asleep or throttling the tab. Some browsers slow down background tabs, which can interrupt a steady connection.
Still stuck?
If reloading and a good connection don’t fix it, it’s worth getting in touch. Tell us what you’re seeing, which browser you’re on, and roughly when it started, and we’ll help. Last modified on July 15, 2026
