Audio settings
This is where you pick which microphone and speaker Dialbird uses, which is handy if you’ve got a headset plugged in as well as your laptop’s built-in mic.- Choose your Microphone from the dropdown. Underneath it there’s a row of bars that light up green as you talk, so you can check Dialbird is picking up the right one.
- Choose your Speaker from its dropdown, then click Test to play a sound and make sure you’re hearing it through the right device.
Work schedule
This sets the hours you’re around to take calls and get notifications, so Dialbird isn’t ringing your phone at 9 in the evening on a Sunday.- Turn on Enable work schedule.
- In the box that opens, click Edit schedule.
- Pick your time zone.
- Choose a pattern: Every day, Weekdays (Monday to Friday), or Custom.
- For Custom, set your start and finish time for each day you want to be reachable, and switch off the days you don’t.
- Save.
This is your personal schedule. It’s different from a phone number’s business hours, which decide how calls to that number are handled for the whole team.
