General sits in the Workspace part of Settings, alongside Members, Phone numbers, Integrations, and Billing. Only the workspace Owner and Admins can see that section, so if you’re a Member you won’t have a General tab.
Naming your workspace
This is what your business is called inside Dialbird. It’s the name your team sees, and it turns up in a few places around the app.- Type the new name into the Workspace name box.
- Click Save.
Setting your default time zone
This sets the time zone your whole workspace runs in.- Click the time zone box to open the list.
- Start typing to search for yours, for example a city or a GMT offset.
- Pick it from the list, then click Save.
This matters more than it looks. Your business hours are worked out in this time zone, so if it’s wrong, calls could go to voicemail when you’re sitting in the van waiting for the phone to ring.
Analytics: Dialbird also has an Analytics area, reached from the main sidebar rather than from Settings. It shows headline numbers and charts for your calls and messages, plus a detailed activity table, and you can filter by date range, activity type, phone number, or team member, then export what you see to a CSV file. It doesn’t have its own guide yet.
