# Overview

> Everything you can set up on a phone number, grouped by tab.

Every number has its own settings, so you can set each one up to suit the job it does. Your main line might record every call and run full business hours, while a quieter number just forwards to your mobile. All of this is set per number, so changing one never affects the others.

Go to **Settings**, then **Phone numbers**, and open a number. The settings are grouped into five tabs.

## General

The number's **name and icon**, which is how it shows in your sidebar. Click the icon to change it, and click the name to edit it.

This tab is also where you **delete** a number. Deleting asks you to type a confirmation first, because it is permanent: you lose access to all the calls and messages on that number.

## Users

Who on your team can see and use this inbox. Add or remove people here. See [Who can use a number](/phone-numbers/inbox-users).

## Availability

Your **business hours** for this number, and the time zone they run in. These are used by call flows and out-of-hours auto-replies. See [Business hours](/phone-numbers/business-hours).

## Advanced

Four things live here:

* **Voicemail**, for taking messages. See [Voicemail](/calling/voicemail).
* **Call recording**, for recording calls. See [Call recording](/calling/call-recording).
* **Call greeting**, a message played before a call connects. See [Call greeting](/phone-numbers/call-greeting).
* **Call forwarding**, sending calls to another number. See [Call forwarding](/phone-numbers/call-forwarding).

## Automation

Two things live here:

* **Call flow**, for building how calls are routed. See [Call flows](/calling/call-flows).
* **Auto-replies**, for texting people back automatically. See [Auto-replies](/messaging/auto-replies).
