# Invite your team

> Add users, assign numbers, and set permissions for your team in Dialbird.

Each person who makes or receives calls needs their own Dialbird user. Users can be assigned numbers, added to ring groups, and given admin permissions.

## Invite a user

1. Go to **Settings** then **Users**.
2. Click **Invite user** and enter their email address.
3. Choose a role.
4. Optionally assign a number or add them to a ring group.

They receive an email invitation and set their own password.

## Roles

| Role | Can do |
| ------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Admin | Everything, including billing, numbers, and call flows |
| Member | Make and receive calls, send messages, view their own call history |

## Assigning numbers

A number can ring one user directly, or ring several users at once through a ring group. If you want inbound calls to hit a menu first, point the number at a call flow instead.
