# Plans and billing

> See your plan, switch between Pro and Business, update your card, and find your invoices, all in one place.

Plan & billing is where you see what you're on, switch plans, keep your card up to date, and pull up past invoices. It's the money side of your workspace, kept on one screen.

Go to **Settings**, then **Plan & billing**. Only the workspace **Owner** can see this, so if you don't have the tab, you're not the owner.

## Your plan

There are two plans: **Pro** and **Business**.

**Pro** covers the day-to-day: unlimited calling, texting, call recording, voicemail transcripts, auto-replies, snippets, shared numbers and contacts, ring groups, and team chat.

**Business** adds the heavier tools on top:

* Live call transfer
* Phone menus (IVR)
* Group calling
* RCS messaging and branded caller ID
* Mass (broadcast) SMS
* Contact lists
* HubSpot, Zapier, and webhooks
* Phone support and priority support

The billing page shows your current plan, what it costs, and your **next billing date**. The exact, up-to-date feature list and prices are always shown on the **Change plan** screen, so that's the place to check before you switch.

## Changing plan

1. Click **Change plan**.
2. Choose **Pro** or **Business**, and pick **Monthly** or **Annual** with the toggle. Annual works out cheaper.
3. Dialbird shows you a summary, including the number of users and the total, before you commit.
4. Click through to confirm.

Your request is submitted right away, and the switch usually completes within a few minutes. Dialbird updates the page itself once it's done, so there's nothing else for you to do.

<Note>
  When you switch, you pay the difference straight away for the rest of your current billing period, worked out to the day. Dialbird shows you the exact amount before you confirm.
</Note>

## Adding numbers and users

Your plan is billed **per user**, so the price you see is per seat.

Extra phone numbers are an add-on: your first number is included, and each additional number is **\$5 a month** (or **£5 a month** in the UK). Porting a number in from another provider is **free**. You can add or remove numbers and users whenever you like, and the cost adjusts for the rest of the billing period.

## Your card and your invoices

* **Payment method** shows the card on file, or **No payment method on file** if there isn't one yet. Click **Edit** to change it.
* **Billing history** lists your recent invoices. Click **View invoice** on any of them to open the PDF, or **View all** to see the full history.

Changing your card and managing your subscription both open a secure **Stripe** window (Dialbird uses Stripe to handle payments), which opens in a new tab.

<Note>
  **Needs checking:** cancellation and refunds happen in the Stripe window, not in Dialbird itself, so the rules aren't set in the app. Confirm your actual policy on cancelling, refunds, and what happens if a payment fails, and add it here. The old version of this page claimed things ("removal takes effect at period end", "payments retry before suspension") that are **not** how the app works. Don't restore those without checking.
